Powermaster High Torque Starter Motor for Big Twin 89/L - Chrome

These 1.4 kilowatt (2HP) starter motors from Powermaster produce approximately 11 pounds of torque compared to the 7.4 foot pounds of torque that the OEM starter motor produces. For the best power transfer possible, the battery terminal cable stud has a 10k industrial gold plating. As an added bonus, the plined output shaft is drilled and tapped for both the 1989/1993 thread (1/4-20) and the 1994/Later thread (10-32). Simply use the included bolt for 1994/Later models or use your existing bolt for 1989/1993 models.
To simplify installation, these starters measure a mere 6 1/2" in length from the mounting surface and won't have the clearance problems that other high performance starter motors suffer from. With a mount CNC machined from billet aluminum for the ultimate in strength. Each starter has been individually dyno tested and include a printout graph and chart showing exact proof of performance curves and data. Made in the USA.

Mid-USA has assembled this kit to help simplify the ordering process when you are building a motorcycle from scratch. Great for high compression applications, this kit features our chrome plated USA made Powermaster starter motor. It has 1.4 KW high torque output. The chrome plated regulator/rectifier and the unmolded stator is our high respected HARDWARE brand and also made in the USA. To fully complement this 32 amp charging system, we have included our new alternator rotor. This newly designed rotor features 12 fully encased magnets and an extra wide splined mount. Fits Big Twin Evolution models 1989/Later (except EFI).
