Round Oil Tanks for Custom Use - Side Fill, 3.5 quart - Hardbody

If you are after that traditional chopper look, then this rubber mounted steel 3.5 quart oil tank with a battery tray is the perfect choice. With a side fill cap, they are manufactured from 16 gauge steel to resist cracking and 100% TIG welded for maximum strength. Each tank includes a heavy duty front mount and a chrome fill plug. These tanks use a Softail size battery and our M83548* OE style rear tank mount. For best results use our M80627* rubber mounts and 10807 battery cushion. Designed in this tank is an extended internal oil return tube that dumps the hot returned engine oil to the far left side of the oil tank. This keeps the returned oil as far away from the feed line as possible, creating an efficient circulating effect. A lower left hand relief has also been built in that can be used with a chain or belt drive. This tank measures 11 3/4" long and has a 6 1/2" O.D. Fits all HARDBODY FAT-A-TUDE, chopper style and rigid frames. Also fits OE Softail frames 1984/1999 if a front horseshoe type mount is fabricated and welded to the seat post. Chrome Plated.

This rubber mounted steel Oil Tank has side fill cap. The side fill tanks are designed for easy access when adding to or checking the oil. Made from 16-gauge steel to resist cracking, these tanks are 100% TIG welded for maximum strength.
4.5 Quart side fill without battery box. This Oil Tank requires custom brackets to be fabricated for frame mounting. It has two mounting locations on the top and one on the bottom. For best results use our *M83563 rubber mounts. All oil line fittings are threaded 1/8-27 NPT. Tank measures 11 3/8" long and has a 5 1/2" O.D. Fits custom applications and most rigid frames . Made from 16-gauge steel to resist cracking, these tanks are 100% TIG welded for maximum strength. Includes heavy duty front mount and fill plug. Use with Softail size battery and OE style rear tank mount. For best results use our *M80627 rubber mounts and *M10807 battery cushion. Also uses 1/8 NPT fittings for vent, return & feed lines, and 1/4 NPT fittings for oil drain. These tanks feature Hardbody's exclusive oil return routing system. CUSTOM HORSESHOE OIL TANK FOR KICKSTART BIG TWIN by Paughco

Available with spin-on oil filter provision or no oil filter provision for use with external oil filter mount.
4 quart capacity with side fill.
Measures 7" tall, 8 5/8" deep and 10" wide.
Battery compartment is 5 3/8" wide and 5 3/8" deep.
These oil tanks are designed to be used with OE style battery/oil tank mounting plate or our 10126.
The three oil line adapter fittings are designed for OE style metal oil lines and screw into tank but can be substituted for any 1/8-27 NPT fittings.
The drain plug hole is tapped 5/8-18 for drain plug of your choice.

These 3 1/2 quart side fill horseshoe oil tanks are chrome plated without the oil filter option (for remote filter). The special feature of these side fill oil tanks is its routing of hot returned oil from the engine.
