This system was designed to protect your paint from vapors and nozzle damage during fueling. With the spanner tool and the paint protector's O ring seal, the paint protector can be easily installed or removed. The gas cap completely covers the paint protector giving a clean low profile look. The paint protector is constructed from machined aluminum and is teamed up with a polished stainless steel cap. Available for models using a single vented cap, dual cap or models that incorporate a tank mounted fuel gauge. The fuel gauge type eliminates the fuel gauge more traditional style dual cap Fat Bob look. All vented gas caps are designed to breathe both ways to prevent pressure build up from heat expansion and will work with all high performance carburetors. Fits all models with screw type gas tank 1982/Later as listed.
