Kraft Tech Stock Width Softail-Style Frames made with 1-1/4 inch Tubing

Frames are designed to use the 1987 to 1999 rear swingarm assembly (not included). They come equipped with stock coil mount, oil tank mounts and Softail-Style flatside gas tank mounts.

OE Style Frames for Softail - standard width - Hardbody by Kraft/Tech

These frames are designed for a Big Twin Evolution engine with up to .200 inch taller cylinders or an alternator type Shovelhead. A Twin Cam 88A can be used with out custom rear engine mount 26055.
Features

The backbone is made from 1 1/2 inch O.D. Drawn Over Mandrel(DOM) steel with .188" wall thickness for superior strength.
The front down tubes and engine/transmission cradle tubes are made from 1 1/8 inch O.D. steel with .120 inch wall thickness.
TIG welded in all high stress areas.
Fork lock tab at neck for security.
Box section at the lower seat post mount for improved strength.
Weld-on brackets include a remote type rear master cylinder mount for late 1987/1999 style Softail brake control, mount for 1987/1991 style Softail oil filter, highway bar & clutch cable mount and a wire harness terminal connection plate that fits between the fuel tanks.(The brackets are not necessary for custom applications.)

They are designed to accept 180 width rear tires and any 5 or 6 speed Softail-Style transmission together with an 1-1/2 inch or 1-1/8 inch rear belt or chain drive. Engineered with a super strong upper frame design with integral neck webbing that offers unparalleled strength with pleasing aesthetics. The single down tube merges with the lower frame rails in such a way as to continue the frames smooth lines, often overlooked on other frames. These Softail-Style beauties are delivered complete with billet hidden axle rear section and a component kit including a top quality CNC machined slotted strut set, cross shaft with flush mount stainless pivot bolts and bearings. Zodiac's Fat Tube Dragster Style Softail Frame Kit

Fat Tube Super Wide frame kit comes with frame, swingarm, primary spacer ring, offset transmission mounting plate, stainless swingarm pivot bolt with chrome spacer and bearing kit, chrome rear wheel axle and stainless steel protection plates for swingarm, engine and shocks. This is the 'Big Brother' of the Super Wide frame. TIG welded. The frame down tubing diameter is increased to 35mm (1.378 inch) outer diameter and the rear swingarm tubing to 28mm (1.102 inch), making it the Fattest looking frame on the market. These Fat Tube Super Wide frame kits accept 250 wide rear tires in a combination with the late Narrow final belt drive. The steering head is raked to 38 degrees and requires a 4 inch to 8 inch overstock fork depending on the wheel and tire size used. All mounts for the side stand and forward controls are welded in place.

Note: Due to the variety of custom made wheels available, axle spacers are not included. Tires must be used with manufacturer's recommended rim size.

TWIN CAM ENGINE ADAPTER PLATES FOR BIG TWIN FRAMES
CNC machined from 7075 billet aluminum. Retrofits Twin Cam (except TC88B) engines into Big Twin Evolution style solid mount frames. Includes grade 8 hardware.
Use Evolution top engine mount, transmission, exhaust and primary covers. Installation Instructions included. The Twin Cam 88 engine has a 1/4" more left hand offset at the sprocket shaft than an Evolution. Due to this incurred engine offset, use the Miscellaneous Information chart to figure out the required driveline parts needed for the width of rear tire and type of frame being used. Use with OE Engines.
