OE Style Frames for Softail - standard width - Hardbody by Kraft Tech

These frames are designed for a Big Twin Evolution engine with up to .200 inch taller cylinders or an alternator type Shovelhead. A Twin Cam 88A can be used with custom rear engine mount.
Features:

Standard width.
The backbone is made from 1 1/2" O.D. Drawn Over Mandrel (DOM) steel with .188" wall thickness for superior strength.
The front down tubes and engine/transmission cradle tubes are made from 1 1/8" O.D. steel with .120" wall thickness.
Fork lock tab at neck for security.
Box section at the lower seat post mount for improved strength.
Weld-on brackets include a remote type rear master cylinder mount for late 1987/1999 style Softail brake control, mount for 1987/1991 style Softail oil filter, highway bar & clutch cable mount and a wire harness terminal connection plate that fits between the fuel tanks. (The brackets are not necessary for custom applications)
Designed for a Big Twin Evolution engine with up to .200" taller cylinders or an alternator type Shovelhead. A Twin Cam Alpha (non-balancer type) can be used with our custom rear engine mount 26055 found in the frame and body section of catalog (you will receive one with your frame).

Kraft Tech frames are made of DOM steel, TIG/MIG welded, and frames will accept Evolution motors (except Twin Cam unless otherwise noted), Shovelhead & Panhead engines with clearance for cylinder up to 0.200" taller than stock Evolution. Made in USA. All frames come complete with manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO). Only frames listed as Kraft Tech are Kraft Tech.
