Complete High Output Single fire Ignition System.
Included is Crane's easy to adjust HI-4 ignition module, Crane's 30,000
plus volt single fire coil and Crane's 8.5mm double silicone premium quality
spark plug wires.
Included with the 40" long "cut to length" spark plug wires
are straight plug wire to coil boots and 90 degree boots.
The HI-4 ignition module fits under the gear cover housing with no need
for external OEM ignition module and RPM limiter.
Fully adjustable advance curves and adjustable REV limiter from 4000/9000
RPM.
A tachometer hook up wire is also standard.
Switch for kick start or electric start. The kickstart model fires the
first cylinder that comes up on compression stroke for that impressive
one kick starting with little chance of kickback. The electric start mode
allows the starter to spin over before the ignition is activated, which
creates less draw on the battery and less strain on the starter motor.
OEM point/race switch. OEM point mode can be used with or without the
OEM VOS unit for street usage and the race mode is for all out full throttle
racing.
LED light for simple static timing and troubleshooting.

ADVANCE IGNITION SYSTEMS AND MODULE FOR BIG TWIN & SPORTSTER - DYNATECH
The ignition module is a self contained electronic advance ignition that
is microcomputer controlled, generating extremely accurate control over
the entire ignition process without the need for the external ignition
module.
The ignition module can be run in the single or dual fire mode and used
with single or dual plug heads when used with the correct OHM coil or
combination of coils. For street use 2.8 through 3.5 OHM coils
Four independent rev limiter choices from 6000 to 7500 RPM
Dramatic, user friendly improvement over the OE ignition
The Kits include ignition module and DYNATEK end mount style coils
The six individual switches allow you to tailor fit one of the eight different
advance curves to produce a spark knock free ignition, whether you are
running the stock displacement or a highly modified high compression Stroker.
A separate Tach output lead is included along with one LED indicator for
static timing and one LED to assist in trouble shooting potential problems
and the condition of VOES.
Custom coil mounts must be used on kits with end mount style coils and
can be found in the Electric Section

This self contained electronic ignition system utilizes your stock mechanical
advance unit.
Mechanical spark advance mechanisms must be used in place of ignition motors
on electronic ignition models.
For best results we recommend using Crane hi-intensity ignition coils MU16050
or MU16056.
This system can be used with any high quality coil with 2-3 OHMs of primary
resistance.
Suppression core spark plug wires can be used but these ignitions work best
with spiral wound plug wires.

The only 'Plug-In' ignition module to date with multi spark technology.
Instead of firing the spark plug only once on compression stroke, it fires
up to 9 times at idle and gradually reduces to 3 times at 6,000 RPM. This
translates to a more efficient fuel burn, easier starts and what everyone
wants "more power". Special features include an adjustable rev
limiter up to 9,900 RPM in 100 RPM increments, 10 advance curves for use
with the VOES switch and 10 advance curves for use without the VOES switch,
rear cylinder timing offset, electric start or kick start mode for easier
starting and a built in LED timing light for static timing. These modules
can be run single or dual fire with single or dual spark plugs per head.
For optimum performance Crane recommends using our 16050 or 16056 coil
for dual fire application. Complete instructions are included. Made in

a wide timing advance adjustment range for stock to highly modified engines.
Adjustable RPM limit in 100 RPM increments up to 9,900 RPM.
Built-in data logging stores the last 30 minutes of engine operation including
RPM, vehicle speed, manifold pressure, ignition advance & battery
