PRIMARY CHAIN DRIVE KIT WITH COMPETITOR CLUTCH FOR BIG TWIN - BDL

A chain drive is hard to beat for reliability and high torque applications. The heart of this drive is the Belt Drives Limited (BDL) Competitor Clutch. With its Kevlar drive plates, this clutch pack offers approximately 60% more surface area than OE. These feature a large 35mm Hub Bearing, 9 Shoulder Bolts, and Coil Springs for accurate spring tension. All kits include a 25 tooth Solid Mount Engine Sprocket with Nut and Washer, 36 tooth Clutch Basket, 82 Link Primary Chain and Chain Tensioner parts as shown. The 25/36 tooth sprocket combination produces a 1.44 primary drive ratio. Kit MU75444 also includes a starter pinion gear for use with 1994/Later models.

OFFSET ENGINE SPROCKETS FOR WIDE TIRE BIG TWIN

Incorporating an offset engine sprocket is a simple but effective way to create room when a super wide rear tire is being installed. By installing an offset sprocket, you eliminate the need to offset the entire engine, thus keeping the engine's weight centered in the frame. For high strength and longevity, these sprockets are made from 4350 chrome moly tool steel and feature induction hardened teeth. The solid mount splined design is the most desirable type to use on high horsepower engines and is 4.5lbs. lighter than a compensating sprocket assembly. These kits will provide 1" offset when used on solid mount Big Twin models 1955/1999 (except Twin Cam 88") and will provide a 3/4" offset when used in conjunction with a non-balanced Twin Cam 88" engine used in a solid mount frame.

530 XDL (extra strength self lube)- Diamond's performance proven chain combines thicker link plates, a high capacity modified press fit coverside with constant lubrication in the pin bushing area to deliver higher strength while requiring fewer adjustments and less maintenance.
530 ENP (nickel plated)- Diamond's longevity, anti-corrosion and rust prevention is accomplished by using nickel plating on all the parts of this chain design. Qualities that deliver added service life.

Note: To determine length of chain in pitches, count the rivet heads. Each one is a pitch. There are 19.2 pitches per foot of chain. The 25 foot roll (480 pitches) includes four master links.
